Produced by a female winemaker who took over the winery as a solo venture after her divorce, the 'Goustan' Blanc de Noirs is a savoury, textured Champagne with lively fruit. While technically labelled as a non-vintage wine, all of the Pinot Noir fruit used for this wine is from the 2012 vintage. Tart red fruits like raspberry and sour cherry balance with salty minerality to produce a complex yet easy-drinking Champagne.

100% Pinot Noir from the vineyards of the village of Ville sur Acre. This is unfiltered and pas-dose Brut Nature. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation and vinifies for 6 months on the lees.

Valerie Goustan tends 6 hectares of mainly Pinot Noir vines in the village of Ville-sur-Arce in the Cote des Bar. The business was established in 1997 with her now ex-husband Thierry de Marne, and following their separation in 2007 she struck out on her own, renaming her wine Val Frison. Of the 6 hectares, 3.5 are for her own production, the rest go to the local cooperative. Certified biodynamic since 2003, the wines undergo neither filtering nor fining and no added sulphites are employed.
