Shipping & Delivery

98% of all our orders to Mainland UK are delivered within 2 working days via DHL. Deliveries to the domestic British Isles and Northern Ireland take 3-4 working days.

Shipping to EU countries depends on the final destination and the shipping method selected. Express delivery can take anywhere between 3-5 working days, while economy can take up to 10 working days.

Faulty Bottles & Returns

You may cancel your order at any time until seven working days after delivery.

To cancel your order please contact us at contact@thegoodwineshop.co.uk.

Should you decide to cancel your order after receipt of the goods, all charges (excluding carriage charges) will be refunded to your card as soon as the goods are returned to us in a merchantable condition and in the original box that you received the goodsCarriage charges for returns are the responsibility of the person returning the goods.

Once the goods have been received and checked, all refunds will be made within 7 working days.

Returned goods should be sent in the original box in which you received your goods.

In case of breakage of any bottle upon delivery, you must notify The Good Wine Shop within 24 hours at contact@thegoodwineshop.co.uk. Upon notification you may choose to either return the broken bottles or the entire case.

Upon receipt of the broken bottles, we shall either refund your card for their value or replace them free of charge, depending on your preference.

All returns, either due to breakage or cancellation of order, shall be arranged by a courier of The Good Wine Shop’s choice.

We aim to supply our wines in excellent condition however should any wine be faulty we will provide a full refund or replacement including partial or full delivery charges. This does not affect your statutory rights. We may require faulty bottles to be returned to us.

In case of a faulty or out of condition wine please reseal the bottle and contact us within 24 hours of opening the wine.

Faulty bottles and their contents should be retained until a conclusion is reached on the course of action to be taken.

Please note that we can only offer refunds or replacements up to 6 months from moment of purchase, providing the bottles have been properly stored.
