The unique line of Marina Cvetic, Gianni’s wife. Montepulciano with a little aging. Soft and appealing fruit on the nose, cherry liqueur, strawberry and followed by leathery notes. Full-bodied with red fruits and vanilla in the mouth, big-yet-velvety tannins and a medium-long finish.

Coming from a single vineyard in Controguerra, in the province of Teramo. Harvest in boxes, vinification in stainless steel 28-30°C at the production site. Followed by long contact with the skins and long ageing during which it stays 12 months in
first-passage French oak barriques, followed by bottling and ageing in the bottle.
Gianni Masciarelli was the one who set up Tenuta Agricola Masciarelli and he was also a symbolic figure in the Italian winemaking world. Masciarelli represents modern winemaking in the Abruzzo region. They have vineyards and olive groves in 4 of its provinces, where they work with innovative methods but also with a commitment to respecting the environment and using certified principles of sustainability.
