Le Carre des Fantomes, "The Square of Ghosts" is the name of the special plot where year after year, the 6 almost extinct grape varieties of the AOC Armagnac have been replanted. This is a very special Armagnac from a special piece of land that restores and celebrates the use of these ancient varietals. Truly unique and complex, expect notes of stewed stone fruits, honey, spices and linden tree blossom.

Domaine d’Auresan is a 5-hectare estate in Ténarèze producing `triple zero Armagnacs` - meaning that no sugar, colouring or water are added. First introduced in 2021, ‘Le Carré des Fantômes’ is a blend of the six rare grape varieties authorised for the production of AOC Armagnac. Plant de Graisse, Mauzac Blanc, Meslier St François, Jurançon Blanc, Mauzac Rosé and Clairette de Gascogne. The cellars of the Domaine have a high hygrometry which favors a slow and progressive ageing. The aging vessels are traditional Armagnac barrels, 420 liters, made with the wood from oaks growing on the property, bring all their aromatic singularity to our eaux-de-vie because it is wood that the eau-de-vie vie extracts the secondary aromatic compounds which it then takes a long time to mature.

Domaine d'Aurensan is an organically-farmed family estate founded in the late 1800s. They are based in the Tenareze region, an area known for its structured and intense spirits. They produce 'triple zero Armagnacs' - meaning that no sugar, colouring or water is added.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:

  • £15 for orders below £75
  • £9.99 for orders below £125
  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
