A new addition to our Spanish select from Montsant in the northeast, Les Tallades is a blend of Garnacha, Carinena, Tempranillo and Merlot. Montsant may be regarded as poor man's Priorat- but wines like this show what great value this region offers. With generous red fruit, a satisfying fullness in the mouth and a lick of mineral on the finish, bring on the mushrooms, tapas, aged cheeses and a barbecue.

The Designation of Origin DO Montsant is located in the centre of Catalonia, forming a ring around the famous and exclusive DOQ Priorat. Based in Catalonia, top Co-operative Cellers Unio has 12,000 hectares of land and a hugely impressive winery which can hold up to 15,000 barrels for ageing and storage.
