Bodega Atamisque, named after a local shrub, are a quality-driven small producer in the heart of Mendoza's Tupungato sub-region. At 1300 metres elevation. French winemaker Philippe Caraguel works the fruit with care into very classy wines, with well balanced oak not overpowering the natural character of the variety and region.
