Badiola was founded in 2018 and is based in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Their vineyards are located on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria planted with very old vines from the 1920s-40s, delivering concentrated juice with a clear identity.

The winemaking philosophy is to obtain very pure, fresh and well-textured wines that reflect their origin with the aim of offering a new perspective on Rioja wines - with an emphasis on terroir, rather than ageing.
