Highly aromatic with redcurrant, blueberry and blackcurrant aromas as well as baking spice and black tea. Age-worthy and beautifully structured, this is very approachable with easy tannins, a smooth leathery earthiness and a delicate pepperiness. Serve slightly chilled.
Pure and inviting, this Reserve wine has a lovely delicate nose with enticing red berry fruits and warm spice. The palate has grippy but fine tannins and a creaminess to the texture. Refined and elegant with such detail on the finish.
Utterly delicious, full of ripe plums, sour cherries and herbal notes. Hints of leather and smokiness complement a refreshing sea spray minerality and velvety tannins. Great with smoked sausage, veal, pork and pasta with wine or tomato sauces.
Lemberger is the German name for the Blaufrankisch found next door in Austria. Aromas of thyme and light rosemary, a nice peppery spice and lovely blackcurrant and cherry with a nice earthy mushroom note.
A full-bodied Lemberger with youthful tannins and an elegant acidity. Full of black fruits, especially blackberry and plum with spice aromas. It would be an elegant match with game and braised meat dishes.
The nose is dominated by a lovely blend of red and black berries followed by a burst of black pepper and clove. Very juicy with fine grained tannins give a lovely mouthfeel.
