Organic & Biodynamic Wines Mixed Case

Throughout the month of June we are putting the spotlight on organic & biodynamic farming and the growers crafting these wines. Take a deep dive with this specially curated case and discover wines across a spectrum of regions and grapes with mother nature at heart. All the growers below are certified organic and/or biodynamic capturing the essence of sustainable farming practices.

This case contains one bottle of each of the wines listed below.

• Bodegas Loxarel, Cora Muscat d'Alexandra/ Xarel-lo, Spain 2022- Organic

Honeysuckle scented and a hint of tropical fruit, peachy too but with beautiful freshness and a subtle bitter note and stony dry end.

• Diwald, Gruner Veltliner Ried Goldberg, Austria 2020- Organic

Diwald consider Goldberg as their poster child for Veltliner. It always has something hearty about it: and gives an assertive yet charming wine. Spicy and ripe with a laid-back “baroque” character in warmer years. This complex, profound wine always offers excellent ageing potential!

• Domaine Les Hautes Noelles, Flores, France 2020 Organic, Biodynamic

From the Muscadet region but 100% Grolleau Gris. Crisp and fresh with grapefruit, mango and pineapple aromas and a hint of white pepper.

• Domaine de la Chevalerie, Franco de Porc, Bourgueil, France 2019– Organic, Biodynamic

This is a lively and aromatic red with aromas of redcurrants and raspberries. The palate is packed with juicy red fruit flavours with hints of bitter cherry. A crisp, fresh and long finish finish.

• Avignonesi, Da.Di Amphora, Tuscany, Italy 2021 – Organic, Biodynamic

100% Sangiovese, a vibrant and unvarnished taste of red fruit. Da.Di is bursting with the freshness and elegance typical of amphora-ageing. Medium body, sleek texture and mouth-watering red berries and cherries tantalise the senses, giving way to a soft spicy finish.

• Chateau Mourgues du Gres, Galets Rouge, France 2021- Organic, Biodynamic

A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Deep ruby with purple hues, the wine has aromas of cherry, blackberry and soft spices. The palate is full-bodied with a good acidity and flavours of red berries and liquorice. Tannins are present and smooth.
