Sebastian farms biodynamically. Grapes for this wine are sourced from Grand Cru Parcels on the Montagne de Reims from Lieux- Dits Verzy and Grande Montagne de Reims.

Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts. The wine is un-fined and unfiltered. There is no dosage and the wine was disgorged in July 2018.

A total of 2150 bottles of this ineffable wine were made. The 2012 vintage is widely lauded as one of the best of the decade.

Nestled on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims’ northern facing Grand Cru vineyards, Verzy & Verzenay. He individually crafts, by hand, with meticulous skill and attention, some of the finest and rarest Champagnes in existence. Miniscule volumes - just a few hundred bottles for the top wines! He is fully biodynamic in his approach. His wines are elegant and utterly timeless.
