The matching wine to the inimitable Lucky's Syrah / Pinot Blend (the labels depict Sam and his wife Tennille Chalmers) Lush and yet fresh. Zippy and yet rich, with plenty of citrus refresher acidity. This wine is all about easy summer drinking, whatever the weather! This wine was created to give lucky a girlfriend. (Sam) I had to head to Mildura to find mine so it was only fitting he finds his here too. The grapes were grown on the farm Tennille grew up on, on a vineyard that her dad planted by hand. The vineyard was the second planting of Pinot Grigio in Australia and is recognised in the wine scene as sparking the boom of the 90's.

This wine stems from the second oldest planting of Pinot Grigio in Australia. Destemmed, fermented in stainless steel, and kept in contact with its lees for extra oomph and texture. Picked at 12 baume, crushed/destemmed and fermented. Lees were kept active until bottling to give texture and a small residual of sugar and co2 are retained for vibrancy.
From Sunday Winemakers consists of three friends who met at university; winemaker James, viticulturist Sam, and brand guru and business man Dave. Producing different series of wines across Australia, their philosophy is simple - farming sustainably and mostly organically, removing and adding as little to the fruit as possible and using science to try and understand nature to make something vibrant and exciting and representative of the site and the vintage. These are the wines they talked and dreamt of making over late night sessions at university � weird blends, unconventional winemaking techniques and experimental batches. These are the wines they like to drink, wines with a conscious that are made to be enjoyed.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:
